What’s in my diaper bag?

What’s in my diaper bag?

Happy Monday amazing people, welcome to my blog!

Today I will be sharing what I have in Naila’s diaper bag. ¬†ūüôā ¬†I am excited to share this with you because I love seeing what other moms have in their diaper bags.

IMG_2317IMG_2318

The diaper bag is from Fawn Design, you can find a similar one here.  The storage wristlets that you see in the pictures are from here and here.

The most important items for Naila are snacks and food. ūüôā ¬†My baby loves food.

1. Food pouches  are a must, she loves the veggie and fruit ones.  For her not to make a mess with these we use the ChooMee SoftSip food pouch tops .

IMG_2313

2. Plum Fruit Snacks are her new favorite snack.

3. Teething crackers help with her teething.  Her 2 top teeth and 2 bottom teeth are all coming in at the same time, my baby is a true baby trooper.

4. Disposable¬†bibs¬†and¬†table toppers ¬†are my favorite that way I don’t have to worry about carrying a dirty bib in my diaper bag after she eats or worry about her eating off of a public table.

5. OXO Tot zippy cup for water and her NUK bottle for her milk.  She is a milk lover!

6. Baby spoons are always needed.

Can’t leave the house without our diapering essentials.

1. Our diaper of choice is the¬†Pampers Swaddlers . ¬†Follow the link to purchase a 1 month supply for a great price. ūüôā ¬†Since it is summer time ¬†I carry at least 1¬†Pampers Splashers swim diaper¬†in case she goes in the water.

IMG_2315

2. Wipes are extremely useful, you can use them to clean up any mess.

3.¬†Boudreaux’s Butt Paste has been our favorite since day one for any kind of rash.

4. The changing pad is from Tote Savvy.

5. If I ever change Naila and there is nowhere to dispose of the dirty diaper I always have the Munchkin Arm & Hammer Diaper Bag Dispenser with bags handy.

6. An item that is always important is an extra change of clothes for your little one in case of an accident. ¬†In this Texas heat we have been loving rompers, this specific one is from Carter’s.

Health and Sanitation is very important to us.

1. Babies are always either getting vaccinations or they are teething.  I always carry Infant Tylenol for that reason.
IMG_2314

2. If your baby ever has a runny nose Boogie Wipes , NoseFrida the Snotsucker and saline spray are all life savers.

3. If you are always worried about germs like me you definitely need the¬†Babyganics hand sanitizing wipes that can be used to sanitize anything not just hands and the¬†MAM pacifier wipes to keep Naila’s pacifier clean.

Now the items that I carry for myself! ūüôā

1. Car keys, gym pass and house keys.

2. My wallet from Ju Ju Be from the Tokipops collection that you can purchase here.

IMG_2316

3. This one is tmi but I didn’t want to leave anything out because then it wouldn’t be an authentic what’s in my diaper bag, I use the U by Kotex ultra thin pads.

4. My favorite liquid lipstick and lip liner are from  Kylie Cosmetics in the shade Posie K.

5. Goody Ouchless hair ties are a must for me.

This concludes what’s in my diaper bag.

Baby’s Favorite Reads

Baby’s Favorite Reads

Happy Saturday! ¬†I hope everyone’s day has been great and productive so far. ¬†ūüôā ¬†If you guys didn’t know, Naila loves books. ¬†Which is great because the importance of reading to¬†young children cannot be emphasised enough and we as parents need to make reading a priority.

IMG_2128

Today I will be sharing some of Naila’s favorite books.

  1. The Very Hungry Caterpillar

IMG_8027 2

The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a picture book written and illustrated by Eric Carle. It follows the life cycle of a caterpillar as it starts by coming out of its egg, all the way to becoming a butterfly. ¬†It teaches the days of the week and counting up to five. ¬†Most of Naila’s books are bilingual.

Bilingual version linked here.

2. Goodnight Moon

IMG_3456 3

Goodnight Moon was written by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by Clement Hurd. ¬†It is a classic children’s bedtime story written about a rabbit’s routine before he goes to bed. ¬†Before his bedtime, the rabbit goes around the room and notices items within eyesight and says goodnight to all of them. ¬†As the story continues, the rabbit gets more and more tired before finally saying “Goodnight noises everywhere,” just as he falls asleep.

Bilingual version linked here.

3. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

IMG_4439 2

This book has a very entertaining and interactive story line about the alphabet. ¬†It begins with the beginning of the alphabet climbing to the top of the coconut tree. ¬†The remaining letters follow action with a rhyming tune to follow. ¬†The letters are having a great time until the tree becomes too full and ‚ÄúChicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom!‚ÄĚ

4. Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?

IMG_1017 2

The repetitive structure makes it a perfect read-aloud with very young children. ¬†This book is¬†beloved for its brightly colored art by Eric Carle and simple, rhyming text by Bill Martin Jr. ¬†The lines are easy to memorize, encouraging even toddlers to “read” along. ¬†Pre-readers can practice identifying color and animal words.

Bilingual version linked  here.

This concludes Naila’s favorite reads.

The Best Travel Stroller

The Best Travel Stroller

Hello amazing readers, today I want to talk about a product that I love.  As a first time mom I did a lot of research when it came to what we were going to invest in for our baby girl Naila, we always want her to have the best.  Which is why we invested in the BabyZen Yoyo+ stroller.

The Babyzen YOYO+ compact stroller is designed to go anywhere, it folds and unfolds easily, can be carried like a bag and is one-hand driving, with minimal storage required.  It can be taken as a carry-on bag on a plane.

IMG_0288
Naila on her 1st plane ride ūüôā

It was designed to make life as a parent a lot easier when it comes to traveling  with an infant or toddler.  You can also invest in the Babyzen Yoyo+ Color Pack which alows you to change the color of the stroller and there is a also a cup holder available for it.

With my YOYO+ stroller, it’s never been easier to meet up with friends to have lunch, meet up for play dates, go to the Zoo, the mall, or fly to the other end of the world.

This is a must have item for every parent out there.

Plus it’s super comfortable for baby to sit in and it comes with an extendable canopy that offers protection from the sun with a UPF of 50+, we love that here in Texas. ¬†When folded to carry like a purse or bag it weighs about 13 lbs. ¬†ūüôā ¬†AMAZING!!

IMG_0290

The link to check out the stroller is in the first paragraph and accessories are linked in the 3rd paragraph.  It is definitely worth the investment.  It comes in a variety of colors, we purchased the Taupe color and we will be purchasing the Ginger color pack next.

Please share my blog post with other parents or soon to be parents.

Must have Monday

Must have Monday

Happy Monday lovely readers, starting today I will be posting and talking about one of my must haves every Monday. ¬†ūüôā ¬†As I discover new items that I love I would love to share and maybe you will decide to purchase the item and love it as much as I do.

Today’s Monday must have is the¬†Fat Brain Toys Tobbles Neo.

IMG_1593
Here is the lovely Naila enjoying her Tobbles.

I purchased this toy when Naila was only a couple of months old and I recently opened it.  The reason as to why I decided to purchase it is because it had great reviews, I personally only shop for anything after I have done enough research and when an item has great reviews.

81Ir9vCrvUL._SL1500_

This toy is for children 6 months and older. ¬†This is a must have because it is perfect for your child’s sensory exploration, motor skills, coordination and much more. ¬†Naila loves the fun colors, the grippable texture, and each sphere is weighted some spheres heavier than others which is convenient for stacking. ¬†This particular toy seems very durable and easy to clean as well.

If you are looking for a toy for your baby, as a baby shower gift, birthday gift. ¬†Definitely purchase this one with the link above Naila’s picture.

Baby food necessities

Baby food necessities

IMG_6294 Good evening, I hope everyone is having an amazing Thursday!  Today Naila and I are sharing our must haves and favorite baby food/ solid food necessities.

We started her food journey with rice cereal when she was almost 6 months old.  After that she was introduced to puree foods, then to the more chunky foods and now at almost 11 months old she can pretty much eat anything just not in big pieces yet since her teeth have not came in yet.

Introducing her to new foods everyday is so exciting, just seeing her reaction makes my day every day. ¬†Until this day we haven’t given her anything that she dislikes. ¬†Which is amazing!!

FAVORITE ITEMS71Heb53nXAL._SX522_

1.  The most useful item has to be the Fisher Price Sit Me Up Floor Seat, I use this seat every single day to feed her or just to play with her.  You can start using this as soon as they have full head control.  What is great about this item is that it folds flat, so you can take it with you wherever you go which is a plus.

2.  Spoons are a necessity for them to learn to eat rice cereal or puree foods.  We love a few kinds the Munchkin Infant Safety Spoons, the Nuby spoons, and the Munchkin soft tip spoons.  Somehow spoons are easy to loose so we are actually purchasing a new set soon we are going to try the BEABA spoon set.

IMG_0075
Here she is chewing on one of her Munchkin spoons.

3.  As a stay at home mom, staying in every single day can become a challenge which is why we go on outings a few times a week.  I love having items in her diaper bag that I can easily use and then throw away.  Disposable items make life so much easier.  We love disposable bibs, and disposable table toppers.

IMG_0561

When we use a public high chair we use the high chair/shopping cart cover.91hFNp9d9WL._SX522_

4. ¬†At around 9 months babies are allowed to drink water along with their food. ¬†The¬†OXO Tot transition soft spout sippy cup¬†is the best sippy cup that I have tried so far and it’s spill proof. ¬†Recently she has started drinking out of straws so I ordered the¬†OXO Tot transition straw cup¬†and we love it equally.

IMG_1181
So cute with her OXO tot sippy cup in pink.

5.  When we are home and she uses her high chair to eat I like to have her use the Bumkins waterproof sleeved bib and the Bumkins waterproof splat mat these 2 together make any mess easy to clean.

FAVORITE ORGANIC FOODS AND SNACKS ūüôā

1. ¬†We keep both baby food jars and pouches. ¬†But honestly my favorite are the baby food pouches just because they are so compact and so easy to handle while feeding and you can use a spoon with them if you choose to but you don’t have to.¬†¬†You can also use the¬†ChooMee SoftSip food pouch tops ¬†so that baby can hold and eat from the food pouch without making a mess and if there are any leftovers you can just close the pouch top and save for later, it’s genius. ¬†ūüôā

Our favorite puree foods as of now are the following:

2. ¬†My baby loves snacks, who doesn’t right? ¬†Snacks are a must in my diaper bag. ¬†Our favorite are the following:

Get paid to shop!

Get paid to shop!

I hope everyone had an amazing Monday!

Are you an online shopper like me? If you are. How would you like to get paid to do it?

Sounds amazing and hard to believe right?

Unknown

Well with the Ebates app I am able to shop online and get a percentage back of whatever I spend. ¬†With a baby girl I am always spending money on clothes so it’s nice to be able to get some of that money back.

I know exactly what many of you are thinking, “I have to spend money to make money?” Yes, but it’s shopping that you already did before this, nothing extra. You’re still able to use coupons, gift cards, whatever it is that you use when you shop online you’re still able to use it.

My top online stores are Nike, Gymboree, Old Navy, Carter’s, Buy Buy Baby, Lululemon, Macy’s, Sephora, Gap and many more. Yes!!! All of these stores offer cash back through the app.

Search for the stores that you shop at and it will more than likely be there.  Please do not make another online purchase without the Ebates app.

Below is a special invite link.  Sign up with my invite link for a $10 bonus on your first check.

Love to Dream Swaddle Up

Love to Dream Swaddle Up

Happy Tuesday amazing readers!!

Today I will be talking about another of my baby must have items, the amazing Love to Dream swaddles.  This swaddle allowed my baby to self-soothe anytime that she was taking a nap or sleeping at night.  Medical research suggests that babies sleep better, and for longer, if they are able to self-soothe.

Below are pictures of my daughter wearing them when she was about a month old.  She loved the Love to Dream Swaddles.

IMG_5307IMG_5216

Other swaddles keep your baby’s hands away from their faces, which can be very uncomfortable for a baby especially because in the womb their hands are naturally placed by their face while they sleep or when they are hungry.

The Love to Dream Swaddles don’t keep your baby from being able to move his/her hands up to their face and the best part is that their hands are fully covered, which means that they won’t end up with scratches all over their cute little faces. ¬†It also features a two-way zipper for those rough late night diaper changes.

You can purchase the swaddle here!  They offer different colors and sizes, below are examples of some of the different options.

Must have items for a newborn part 1

Must have items for a newborn part 1

I am a mom to a sweet 9 month old baby girl.  I always want the best for her and I want her to always be as comfortable as possible.  Our babies will not be able to let us know if something is bothering them for a while, which is why we as moms have to make sure that we are always watching over them and doing what we think is best for them.

In this post I will list and link the items that I found were a must for me, I still use all of these items 9 months into motherhood.  I will place a description of each item and I will then post a picture of the item where you can click and it will take you directly to the Amazon website were you can purchase.  As a mom shopping on Amazon is a must.

  1.  Chemical free diapers perfect for newborn skin.  These diapers are the best in my opinion, you get so many for such a good price and the quality is amazing.  They are very soft as they are made out of cotton.  Click on the image below to purchase.  Below the diaper picture is a link to the wipes that I use as well.

2.  Burp cloths are a must to clean up any spit up or any mess that you might need to clean up.  When you have a newborn these are your best friend, I still use them to clean her up after she eats her puree foods.  Click on the image below, I love these because they are durable and very absorbent.

3. My daughter started sleeping through the night at 2 months old and I thank the Dock a tot Deluxe. ¬†I know it was this for sure because there has been nights that we don’t use it and she wakes up a few times throughout the night. ¬†Click on the image below. ¬†Below the first image is the Dock a tot Grand which is for 9 months and up. ¬†Trust me moms it is worth the money.

4.  If you ever want to get some time to yourself and have someone else feed your baby you will need baby bottles.  I love these because they are small and easy to wash.  The nipple and lid are all in one, no need to have more than 2 pieces per bottle while washing.  Also, they have fun quotes on the bottom of the bottle.  Click on the image below.

5. A Bottle warmer to warm up the babies milk.  Below is the one that I use, it is perfect because it has a setting specifically to warm up breast milk, it helps preserve the nutrients.  Click on the image below.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my post.  Soon I will post a part 2 for the newborn must haves.  Always remember it is a beautiful day to have a beautiful day.
